Gold Dust Farm 97 Reservoir Rd Chepachet, RI 02814 8am-4pm EQUINE SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY Level I- certificate program Presented by Rhode Island Veterinary Technician Association This course will train participants in Equine Sports Massage Therapy. It will cover the therapeutic application of hands-on massage techniques for the purpose of increasing circulation, relaxing muscle spasms, relieving tension, enhancing muscle tone, and increasing range of motion in horses. Participants will learn the basic physiology of muscles and the location of major muscle groups. Each participant will learn how to perform a massage therapy consultation and evaluation of the equine client and have the opportunity to apply the lessons to actual horses at our host facility. Instructors are certified equine sports massage therapists and certified veterinary technicians Seminar has limited space so register early! $225 per participant for the two day seminar includes all materials, breakfast and lunch both days Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion Level I RIVTA CEMT (certified equine massage therapist) |
